Reaper and Influence Farming

They are done through the same method: Speed running breaches in Battlefield

For influence farming, you will want to do the highest wrath you can one shot or quickly kill elites on. Each breach closed grants influence exp, this is increased by wrath level and Bravery’s % influence gain. If your build can afford to, put in as many attribute points as you can into Bravery. The result screen will not reflect the bonus influence gain from Bravery, but you will receive the bonus influence when it is added to your influence exp bar.

For reaper farming, wrath level does not matter, choose one in which you can quickly kill monsters. The area also does not matter, pick your favourite layout. The recommended layout is The Prison. Reapers have a chance to drop after closing a breach. Every breach you close will increase the chance of a reaper dropping, eventually reaching 100%. This will reset to 0% after a reaper drops. Each Slorm Temple room counts as a breach, it is recommended to do a mix of battlefield and slorm temple to farm some pure slorm to purchase upgrades at Olorin’s shop. There is a pity timer of 150, which means that you will definitely get a reaper drop every 150 breaches cleared. According to the dev, the average is a reaper every 120 breaches or so.

  • (Optional) Equip the Ultimatum of Indisputed Speed if you do not have capped Bravery or if you want more movement speed.
  • Choose Battlefield
  • Choose Fixed Environment, No Bosses on the Battlefield Selection Page. Click on the right arrow to do so.
If you have not completed the Adam Nostrus Trial Part 1 requirement of 15 battlefield bosses, pick Random Environment instead. Swap back to Fixed Environment when you are done with the 15 bosses.
  • Pick an area.
For influence farming, press P to view your influence level for each area. If you are aiming for a total of 50 influence levels for the Adam Nostrus trials, pick the area which you have the lowest influence level.
For reaper farming, pick one that has a good layout such as The Prison
  • Ignore monsters on the way, rush to breaches, open them and clear them as fast as you can.
  • Skip the chaos wave breaches. Skip dead ends to not waste time backtracking. You do not have to clear all breaches in the area, you can skip up to 5. Use f to interact with a closed breach to bring up the portal if you have skipped any breaches.
  • Keep going for as long as you wish.
  • For influence farming, make sure you exit properly through the portal when you decide to end your farming session. Exiting by dying or other means will result in 0 influence gain.
For reaper farming, you can leave however you like, but it is still recommended to exit through the portal for the extra rewards.

Recognising different types of breaches. Breaches are marked with Roman numerals or symbols, and colors. Images are taken from MrPoirot’s post in The Slormancer Discord Server,

Single Wave Breach

Double Waves Breach

Triple Waves Breach

Chaos Wave Breach. This is the breach that takes a long time to close. Highly recommend that you skip this when you see it.

Cataclysm Breach. They are red instead of green, and can come in different wave types. These inflicts a random malediction (debuff) on you that lasts for a number of breaches, check the number on the debuff icon to see how many breaches remaining. When the malediction is over, it will grant you a pile of rewards. Skip if you want to.

Exalted Breach. They are yellow instead of green, and can come in different wave types. These gives you a random buff.
