Golden Overdrive v1.0
Decent AOE
No buttons
Extremely tanky
High single target dps, low dps for dense monster packs
Transitions into a magic find build at end game
TLDR:
- Stack Evasion for defence and damage
- Stack Armour for defence
- Stack Overdrive bounce number, overdrive damage, raw damage, max mana, critical strike chance for damage
- Walk around, balls automatically bounces around to kill enemies
If you want a more goldus find focused build check out LeBlobber’s version.
Credit to Torinux for the build inspiration
Warning!! Even at 1000% goldus find, this build gains worse goldus per hour than simply farming w10 forge on any build so please do not expect yourself to be swimming in gold with this build.
Warning!!! THIS BUILD IS VERY HEAVILY CUCKED BY THE NULLIFYING SHIELD CATACLYSM. If you hate standing around doing nothing waiting for your overdrives to strip the enemy block stacks, do not play this build. Even with 12 wandering arrows it takes some time to strip the enemy block stacks, which gets annoying really quickly.
Build
Class
Specialisation
The support skill does not have to be used. You can cast it off cooldown for the Evasion Multiplier buff for more damage and defence if you want to.
T8 -
Primary Skill
Any. You can equip Immortal Arrow as the primary skill. This gives some extra small dps, it is mainly for stripping the block stacks of enemies. Equip Wandering Arrow, Academic’s Arrow and Companions.
Secondary Skill
Any. You can equip Finesse with Dive In, Reach Out and Free Membership to use as a movement skill.
Ancestral Legacy
In order sequence:
More damage and better clear. The other alternative is Elemental Aura.
Attributes
In order of priority:
Toughness 15 for the 25% Armour to Elemental Resistance conversion.
Savagery 25 for 40% Overdrive Damage.
Fury 75 for extra evasion, critical strike chance and armour penetration.
Add remaining points to Savagery.
Optional Magic Find setup: Toughness 15 > Bravery 75 > Fury. With this setup you will no longer need the movement speed ultimatum and can equip the critical strike damage ultimatum for all content.
Gear
Note that defense, magic and rare stats are interchangeable as they have the same range of rolls. These are for the legendary, no nether, no pure stats section. Check the full walkthrough below for nether gear stats.

Skill Mastery Mod on Gear
Any. Does not do anything for this build.
Reaper Affinity on Gear
Any. Overdrive damage is based on raw damage and not skill damage, which means that our reaper damage is not added to our Overdrive damage. Go for +50 to Beigarth to make use of the effect on the Enhancement Rune of Astorias which states “The increase is equal to your Affinity with the Reapersmith of your Effect Rune”. You can ignore this if you are using other Enhancement Runes.
Ultimatum
Ultimatum of Flawless Power (Forge): Your Critical Strike Damage is set to 280%. Swap to this for non-forge content for more damage. We do not have any source of increased critical strike damage, which makes this ultimatum increase our damage by a lot.
Reaper & Runes
Aurifurious, Primordial Bow Born of Fusion
+175% Slorm Find
+87.5% Slorm Find Multiplier
+175% Goldus Find
+87.5% Goldus Find Multiplier
Every 0.5s, you trigger a Golden Overdrive.
Golden Overdrive deals Increased Damage equal to your Goldus Find.
To create this reaper, you will have to level both the Slormbane reaper and Goldscourge reaper to level 50.
Activation Rune of Astorias: After you’ve killed 49 enemies, you trigger your Effect Rune
Thornbite Rune: You gain Thornbite Protection that shields you from the next Incoming Damage equal to the sum of your Armour, Elemental Resistance and Evasion
Enhancement Rune of Beigarth (Forge): Everytime you trigger your Effect Rune, you gain an Effective Rune stack, increasing the effects of your Effect Rune by 1%, up to 150%.
Enhancement Rune of Astorias (Non-forge and bosses): The Constraint of your Effect Rune is reduced by 20%. This effect is increased by 105%.
Enhancement Rune of Hagan (Optional): Your Effect Rune has +180% Increased Effect. The Constraint of your Effect Rune is increased by 150%.
We choose Thornbite Rune for the Thornbite Protection it provides. We have huge amounts of Evasion, Armour and Elemental Resistance.
There are 3 viable enhancement runes to choose from.
Beigarth provides the best balance of Thornbite Protection vs kills.
Hagan lets you skip the ramping up for the highest amount of Thornbite Protection, but at the expense of increasing our constraint requiring us to kill more enemies to trigger the effect rune.
Astorias requires the least number of enemies we have to kill to trigger the effect rune, this results in very rapid refreshing of our Thornbite Protection, but in turn grants the lowest amount of Thornbite Protection.
How the build works
Offence
We deal damage through the Golden Overdrive which is automatically triggered twice per second by our reaper.
Raw Damage
We gain raw damage by stacking them on our gear. We gain extra raw damage through conversion.
- Evasion > Max Mana (Evasive Magic)
- 70% Max Mana > Mana Locked (Air Conditioner & Spark Machine)
- 21% Mana Locked > Raw Damage (Raw Lock)
Overdrive Bounce Number
We stack as much Overdrive Bounce Number as possible for better clear and more single target damage (A Path to the First).
Overdrive Damage and Goldus Find
We stack as much Overdrive Damage and Goldus Find as possible for more damage.
Critical Strike
We stack some critical strike chance on our gear for more damage. We use the Ultimatum of Flawless Power to gain more critical strike damage.
Armour Penetration
We cap Armour Penetration at 100%. Armour Penetration above 100% is wasted.
Defence
Thornbite Protection
We gain Thornbite Protection by triggering Thornbite Rune for more EHP. We have massive amounts of Evasion, Armour and Elemental Resistance which results in a huge Thornbite Protection. Some of these come from conversions:
- 187.5% Evasion > Armour (Indomitable Mountain)
- 25% Armour > Elemental Resistance (Toughness 15)
- 68% Elemental Damage > Elemental Resistance (Force Transmission)
Life sustain
We have no skills that require life to cast. Our Life is covered by Thornbite Protection. This means that we do not require life sustain.
Mana sustain
We use a single % Mana Leech mod on our gear OR Tear of Arah to sustain mana for our Neriya’s Shield. You can ignore this if you want to and leave the Neriya’s Shield off, it won’t make much of a difference.
Tenacity
We cap Tenacity at 100%. This is a huge QOL in the Forge
Light Resistance
It is optional to cap Light Resistance.
Playstyle
Walk around, golden balls automatically bounce around and things die.
There is a moment of weakness, which is when we first enter a zone and do not have any stack of Thornbite Protection.
To counter this, you can:
- Enter the new zone
- Swap to Activation Rune of Smaloron
- Use the Trigger Rune Effect skill
- Swap back to Activation Rune of Astorias
From zero to hero, a full walkthrough from level 1 new save to wrath 10 end game and beyond
Campaign
Pick the Fierce Huntress. You will be levelling from 1 to the end of the campaign using Arrow Shot as your primary skill and Architect of Death as your specialisation.
Act 1 The Graveyard
- Open your inventory, on the left you will find the character stats. Click on Life Leech, Life on Hit, Mana Leech and Mana on Hit to highlight them. Go to the second tab and click on Raw Damage and Armour to highlight them. Doing so will highlight loot that drops. It will also affect the item filter that you unlock later on. Items that dropped with the selected stats will be highlighted, you can choose to only loot these highlighted gear to save time.
- Keep 1 piece of gear with life leech equipped, just 1 is enough, the gear’s level and value of life leech doesn’t matter. You can use any gear with life on hit as a substitute before you get any life leech gear. Once you get a life leech gear, turn off life on hit highlight in your character stats.
Keep 1 piece of gear with mana leech equipped, just 1 is enough, the gear’s level and value of mana leech doesn’t matter. You can use any gear with mana on hit as a substitute before you get any mana leech gear. Once you get a life leech gear, turn off life on hit highlight in your character stats.
Wear whichever gear gives you more raw damage. You can use the character info’s average skill damage estimate to determine which is better. If the gear does not have raw damage, wear whichever gives more armour. - Open your inventory, go to the third tab on the right for attributes. Remove the first point from Willpower and add it to Toughness. Add all points you gain to Toughness.
- Try to kite (walk around the enemy) when attacking, do not stand there and facetank.
- At level 3 you will unlock Rain of Arrows which is automatically equipped in the secondary slot. Leave it there, you will not be using it. You will equip Finesse as the secondary skill to use as a movement skill when you unlock it later at level 20.
- Upgrade Voracious Arrow (Arrow Shot) to Rank 4.
- Equip the Signet Ring of the Mcrippeds that Pedro gives. Use emergency healing to restore life if you have to. You can replace this ring with better rings when you find and equip a gear with life leech.
- Talk to Pr. Geranium in town after saving him. This allows our reaper to start gaining levels.
- Upgrade Obsidian Arrowhead (Arrow Shot) to Rank 4. You now have some pierce chance for better clear.
- Upgrade Voracious Arrow (Arrow Shot) and Obsidian Arrowhead (Arrow Shot) simultaneously to Rank 7.
- You will start getting random reaper drops, stick with our starting reaper (Adam Nostrus’ Bow) for the entire campaign. After getting your first random reaper drop, talk to Pr. Geranium in town again for a free legendary amulet.
- After unlocking Jemma, you can sell excess gear to her. Or just throw them on the ground, doesn’t really matter.
- At level 10, you will unlock specialisations. Open your skills menu and click “Become Architect of Death”. You will not be using the support skill, it is equipped to gain mastery levels to unlock upgrades.
- After saving Palstrang, you unlock Expeditions. Ignore this system for now and continue on the campaign.
- After saving Adam Nostrus, talk to him in town. You will receive your first Ancestral Stone. Allocate Elemental Boost and do not upgrade it.
- Upgrade Voracious Arrow (Arrow Shot) and Obsidian Arrowhead (Arrow Shot) simultaneously to Rank 10.
- Upgrade Acidic Arrowheads (Architect of Death) to Rank 1.
- Kill the Act 1 Boss. Highlight the remaining text for spoilers/tips: **Whenever the boss goes invulnerable, you have to kill all the summons with the red aura below to end the invulnerability.**
- After killing the Act 1 Boss, talk to Adam Nostrus for another Ancestral Stone. Allocate Heart of the Wizard and upgrade it to Rank 3.
Act 2 The Prison
This act has the most annoying mobs, especially the prisoner which blocks the first 3 hits. I highly suggest skipping killing enemies that aren’t required by the quest to save time. For example, if the quest requires you to clear breaches, you should only bother killing enemies spawned by the breaches and simply skip the rest of the enemies on the way. DO NOT SKIP ANY BREACH, it might be one that unlocks an NPC.
- Upgrade So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot) to Rank 2. You finally get additional arrows for better clear.
- After saving Joana, talk to her in town, then pay 1000 gold to purchase a stash tab from the left stash above Joana. You can now stash your excess legendary gear and pure stats gear here. The legendary stash on the right is pretty expensive to unlock, you can do this later after the campaign.
- After saving Rick Manalan, talk to him in town. This unlocks Slormite drops.
- At level 20, you will unlock Finesse. Equip it as your secondary skill.
- Upgrade Dive In (Finesse) to Rank 1. You can now use Finesse as a movement skill.
- Upgrade Heart of the Wizard (Ancestral Legacy) to Rank 7.
- After saving Friedrich, talk to him in town. This unlocks crafting and the drop filter. From now on, do not sell excess gear to Jemma. Salvage your excess gear at Friedrich.
- It is time to set up the drop filter. Open your inventory and click on Filter-o-tron at the bottom right. Set it to the following for normal, magic, rare and epic items:
Do not hide legendary items. - Highlight the following text for extra tips for Mission 6: **During the last wave, kill the Necromancers first. If you run out of mana, temporarily unequip So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot).**
- Highlight the following text for extra tips and spoilers for Mission 8: **Temporarily lower the rank of So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot) for better mana sustain. Kill the bat first.**
- After reaching Rank 7 on Heart of the Wizard (Ancestral legacy), you can now afford the additional mana cost of Forking Arrow. Refund Voracious Arrow (Arrow Shot) and upgrade Forking Arrow (Arrow Shot) to Rank 10. Pierce and fork can happen at the same time, this gives you better clear.
- Upgrade Heart of the Wizard (Ancestral Legacy) to Rank 10.
- During the escort mission, you do not have to escort or care about Olorin, just make your way to the exit and leave.
- Highlight the following text for extra tips for the Act 2 Boss: **Temporarily unequip So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot) for mana sustain. Shoot the boss from as far away as you can.**
- After killing the Act 2 Boss, talk to Adam Nostrus for an Ancestral Stone. Allocate Seasoned Hunter and do not upgrade it yet.
Act 3 The Mage Academy
DO NOT SKIP ANY BREACH, it might be one that unlocks an NPC. The witches on brooms here cast a silence ground aoe, you can walk out of them to continue attacking. There are sorcerers with a projectile blocking aoe shield which will block your arrows, walk into the shield to attack them.
- Upgrade Heart of the Wizard (Ancestral Legacy) to Rank 10.
- Upgrade So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot) to Rank 3.
- Upgrade Seasoned Hunter (Ancestral Legacy) to Rank 10.
- Olorin will give you a Legendary Doubtful Sock. It is a meme referencing the Sorting Hat in Harry Potter. Stash it for collection.
- Upgrade The Leecher (Architect of Death) to Rank 1. You can now drop life leech from your gloves and use whatever gives you more raw damage instead. Turn off the highlight for life leech in your character stats.
- Highlight the following text for extra tips and spoilers for the Act 3 Boss: **Temporarily unequip So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot) for mana sustain. When the boss starts channeling and gains a colored rune around its body, stand on the rune with the corresponding color at the corner of the room to avoid damage from the fireballs.**
- After killing the Act 3 Boss, talk to Adam Nostrus for an Ancestral Stone. Allocate Pain Weaver and upgrade it to Rank 10.
Act 4 The Luxurious Gardens
DO NOT SKIP ANY BREACH, it might be one that unlocks an NPC.
- Upgrade Pain Weaver (Ancestral Legacy) to Rank 10.
- Highlight the following text for extra tips and spoilers for Mission 3: **You can skip the chaos wave breaches next to the individual signboards. The correct paths are Candle (right), Mushroom (left) and Egg (bottom).**
- Upgrade The Greedy Huntress (Architect of Death) to Rank 10.
- Highlight the following text for extra tips and spoilers for Mission 7: **You can skip the chaos wave breaches next to the individual signboards. The correct paths are Key (right), Fire (right) and Book (top).**
- Highlight the following text for extra tips and spoilers for the Act 4 Boss: **Temporarily unequip So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot) for mana sustain. Try to place the damage over time ground at the corners out of the way. During the bullet hell phase you will have to collect pumpkins, be patient as there is no timer.**
- After killing the Act 4 Boss, talk to Adam Nostrus for an Ancestral Stone. Allocate Reapersmith’s Legacy and do not upgrade it.
Unallocate and refund Pain Weaver.
Allocate Regenerative Strikes and upgrade it to Rank 10.
Act 5 The Royal Wing
- Upgrade Regenerative Strikes (Ancestral Legacy) to Rank 10.
- Upgrade Reapersmith’s Legacy (Ancestral Legacy) to Rank 10.
- Highlight the following text for extra tips and spoilers for the Act 5 Boss: **Temporarily unequip So Many Arrows (Arrow Shot) for mana sustain. Dodge the beam and multiple rapid earthquakes (when Palstrang jumps before slamming down), the other skills are not deadly.**
- After killing the Act 5 Boss, talk to Adam Nostrus for an Ancestral Stone. Allocate Pain Weaver and upgrade it to Rank 10.
Slorm allocation sequence (Campaign):

- Obsidian Arrowhead (Arrow Shot) 4/10

- Reapersmith’s Legacy (Ancestral Legacy) 10/10. You will very likely still be upgrading this by the time you finish the campaign, it is ok, you can continue upgrading it in the following section.
- Pain Weaver (Ancestral Legacy) 10/10
Adam Nostrus’ Trials 1
After the campaign, you will unlock the quest board next to Almerolis that contains the Adam Nostrus’ Trials. You will be unlocking multiple important pieces of gear such as the 3 runes, movement speed ultimatum and the 7th Ancestral Stone. Time to edit your filter, remove highlighted stat from magic, rare and epic items, you no longer need to loot random highlighted stat gear:
You can turn off all highlights in your Character info sheet.
The Mage Academy 4 - Temppopotamus Bastion
Head to the Mage Academy at the bottom left of the town, you will be levelling here for a quick boost as well as to obtain and craft your first set of temporary mid game gear.
- Go to the mage academy mission 4, tick Match my level
- Enter, rush to the 3 chaos breaches and trigger them all. Kill all enemies then use the leave expedition key to leave.
- Repeat the above until level 40. Continue allocation slorm according to this list.
- Once you reach level 40, talk to Jemma, go to her second tab, keep buying random containers until you collect a full set of level 40 gear.
- Go to the blacksmith Friedrich. It is time to start crafting. Craft the following on your level 40 gear. Remember that you can scroll down for more crafting options as well as lock stats you do not want rerolled. Craft the Normal and Defense Stats. Magic Stats is optional except for the Life Leech and Mana Leech stats, do it if you have enough magic slormelines. You can merge fragments into slormeline at the blacksmith, but I highly recommend that you skip merging and save the gold for later use.

Battlefield and Slorm Temple
This is where you unlock your first ultimatum and level it to rank 3 to meet one of the Adam Nostrus’ Trial 1 requirements. You will also upgrade your Elder Slorm capacity to 200+ in order to run the next part of the grind. In between runs, reinforce any gear with full potential up to +7, no need to go any higher for now. Feel free to craft any missing magic stats from this section.
- Talk to Almerolis, select Battlefield, Wrath 1 and Battlefield Journey (Random and Everchanging Environment. Boss Events.).
- Enter, clear breaches until you can open the portal to the next floor (5 breaches below the number of breaches on the floor). Ignore normal monsters on the way between breaches, but do kill any elite you see for Elder Slorm. Once you can open the portal, go to the next floor right away. This saves lots of time as you can rush for the 30 Battlefield Bosses. Avoid chaos wave breaches, they take too long to complete, you can refer to the bottom of this page for images on how to recognise breaches.
Elder Slorm drops from Elites in Battlefield. Repeat this until your Elder Slorm is full. Once it is full, exit the battlefield through the portal after killing the next battlefield boss. - Olorin will appear, talk to him to unlock Slorm Temple.
- Talk to Almerolis, select The Slorm Temple.
- Enter and push as far as you can until you are out of Elder Slorm. At the end of each run, talk to Olorin, spend your Pure Slorm on upgrading Elder Slorm Max Capacity and dump the rest into Elder Slorm Find.
Note that Pure Slorm sometimes drop when triggering a room, there is no minimap icon so keep a lookout for it. - Talk to Cory Ironbender to unlock The Great Forge.
- Repeat Battlefield and Slorm Temple until you have cleared Floor 10 of The Slorm Temple and unlocked the exp Ultimatum. Equip the ultimatum, talk to Olorin and upgrade this ultimatum to Rank 3.
Battlefield and Great Forge
This is where you unlock the 3 runes needed for the build: Activation rune of Astorias, Thornbite (Effect) rune and Enhancement rune of Astorias.
In between runs, reinforce any gear with full potential up to +7, no need to go any higher for now. Feel free to craft any missing magic stats from this section.
When your Adam Nostrus’ Bow reaches level 50, you have completed another Adam Nostrus’ Trial 1 requirement. After completing this, if you have the Slormbane or Goldscourge bow, equip it. Otherwise feel free to swap to any reaper by Cory, Astorias or Beigarth for more of these reapersmith spirits in the forge.
Equip other skills in the secondary skill slot during forge so that you can dump slorm into their upgrades for more raw damage.
- Farm Battlefield until you have more than 140 Elder Slorm, I highly recommend that you do at least wrath 2. Talk to Almerolis, select The Great Forge, Wrath -. I picked the lowest wrath to save elder slorm, if you do not mind the cost, go ahead and do higher wrath levels.
- Enter, open 2 gates only (again, to save elder slorm, open more gates if you want to).
Use the leave expedition key to select start and next wave.
Do not pick any shadow related option, you cannot handle the shadow debuff yet.
Pick any Siege Leader Spawn chance option that appears.
Complete waves until the Siege Leader spawns. Its spawn chance is equal to the current wave number plus any additional spawn chance from reward options. The Siege Leader can only spawn once per round of the forge.
After killing the Siege Leader, claim a rune, open the war chest and leave. This is to speed farm for the runes you need. You can clear up to wave 100 if you prefer, especially if you chose a higher wrath level. Reapersmith spirit can be earned only from the forge, you might want to prioritise choosing options that reward Astorias > Beigarth > Cory, you will need these for upgrading runes and reaper affinity later. - Repeat Battlefield and The Great Forge until you have unlocked the Activation rune of Astorias and Thornbite (Effect) rune. Optionally continue this until you have also unlocked the enhancement rune of Astorias.
Equip them when you unlock them. - Upgrade them at Cory Ironbender in town. The activation and enhancement runes use the same reapersmith spirit, upgrade the activation rune before upgrading the enhancement rune.
At least upgrade the activation rune of Astorias to rank 3. This is to complete the Adam Nostrus’ Trial requirement. Feel free to upgrade the runes further than rank 3. Once complete, move to the next section.
Battlefield and Slorm Temple II
You are back to repeating Battlefield and Slorm Temple. This is to clear 2 Adam Nostrus’ Trial 1 requirement: Reach a total of 50 influence and Defeat 15 Battlefield Bosses. In between runs, reinforce any gear with full potential up to +7, no need to go any higher for now. Feel free to craft any missing magic stats from this section.
- Farm Battlefield with Battlefield Journey until your Elder Slorm is full, then push as far as you can in Slorm Temple. Repeat this until you have defeated 15 battlefield bosses. This should have been completed by now, i will leave it here just in case you have not.
- Farm Battlefield with Careful Examination (press the right arrow) until your Elder Slorm is full, then push as far as you can in Slorm Temple.
Repeat this until you have a total of 50 influence levels across all environments. Press P on keyboard or down on controller to view your profile, the levels are shown on the top left of your profile. Choose the environment in which you have the lowest influence level before entering the battlefield. Level 10 in each environment will be enough to reach a total of 50 influence levels.
For this run, you will no longer enter the next floor asap in battlefield, you will try to clear as many breaches as possible per floor. You will still ignore the chaos wave breaches and dead ends to save time. Make sure that you leave the battlefield through the portal to earn influence. If you leave by dying, exiting to menu or exiting the game you lose the influence gain.
Influence is rewarded for each breach closed, and multiplied by wrath level. This can be increased by the Bravery Attribute. I highly recommend that you do at least wrath 2. - On Floor 20 of the Slorm Temple, you will find a movement speed ultimatum. Equip it. You can now zoom around faster to earn influence faster.
- On Floor 50 of the Slorm Temple, you will meet the first boss encounter. This should be relatively easy, you can tank everything other than the laser beams.
- Your Pure Slorm spending at the end of each Slorm Temple run should be: Upgrade Ultimatum of Indisputed Speed > Upgrade Elder Slorm Max Capacity > Upgrade Elder Slorm Find.
If you have trouble surviving the temple defenses, farm some Pure Slorm on lower floors and upgrade Temple Defenses Damage.
If you have trouble clearing the floor within the timer, farm some Pure Slorm on lower floors and upgrade Temple Keeper Awakening. - If you finished both 30 influence and battlefield bosses without reaching level 60, do a few runs of temppopotamus bastion with the exp ultimatum to catch up on your level. Or simply skip to the next section.
- When you have completed your Adam Nostrus’ Trials 1, talk to Adam Nostrus in town for an Ancestral Stone. Allocate Aegis of Light and upgrade it to Rank 1. Congratulations on completing the first trial!
Slorm allocation sequence (Adam Nostrus’ Trials 1): {#slorm-allocation-sequence-(adam-nostrus’-trials-1):}

#
Adam Nostrus’ Trials 2
During this phase, you will aim to complete the second trial, farm for the Goldscourge and Slormbane Bow, and upgrade your build. At this point you should have a good amount of goldus, time to purchase the legendary stash.
Battlefield and Slorm Temple
You will be repeating battlefield and slorm temple to farm for the Goldscourge and Slormbane bows, as well as to cap the rank of the exp and movement speed ultimatums.
Farming for the reapers can take a long time depending on your luck, if you hit a wall in the slorm temple, ignore it and focus on speed clearing breaches in battlefield. My luck was pretty bad and I managed to push past floor 150 while still trying to find the last reaper. The floor 150 temple keeper should be easy, you can tank everything except the lasers.
In between runs, reinforce any gear with full potential up to +7, no need to go any higher for now. Feel free to craft any missing magic stats from this section.
- Talk to Jemma, buy random containers until you have a full set of level 60 or higher gear. Craft them according to this section. You will be slightly weaker with the new gear but it will quickly surpass your level 40 +7 gear as you reinforce them.
- Farm Battlefield with Careful Examination (press the right arrow) until your Elder Slorm is full or whenever you prefer, then push as far as you can in Slorm Temple. Run your preferred layout, it does not matter which layout you choose now. Wrath 3 should be easy for you now, if possible, run higher wrath levels in which you can still kill elites quickly. Continue avoiding Chaos Wave breaches and backtracking to save time. Keep repeating this.
- Reaper drop rate increases after every breach or slorm temple room cleared up to 100%, and will reset back to 0 after a reaper drops. Goldscourge and Slormbane Bow are the reapers you want, if you get it, equip it immediately to start levelling it. It does not give a huge boost right away, it is the primordial version that is awesome. Once you reach level 50 on one bow, swap any bow you prefer. If you reached level 50 on both bows, equip Aurifurious to level it.
- Upgrade the movement speed and exp ultimatums to max rank before dumping the rest of the pure slorm into capacity and find.
- Keep repeating battlefield and slorm temple until you have found both the Goldscourge and Slormbane Bow, and capped the rank of the two ultimatums. Once complete, move on to the next section.
Battlefield and Great Forge
Your main goal here is to level your reaper into the primordial version. You can level the reapers in Temppo too but you should do it in the forge to farm for reapersmith spirits to level your runes. This will let you build and sustain your EHP through runes alone, letting you drop the life gain on hit Ancestral Legacy. In between runs, upgrade your runes and reinforce any gear with full potential up to +8, no need to go any higher for now. Equip the exp ultimatum for forge and movement speed ultimatum for battlefield. Equip other skills in the secondary skill slot during forge so that you can dump slorm into their upgrades for more raw damage.
- Farm the great forge doing all 100 waves. If you run out of Elder Slorm, go farm for some in battlefield and return to the great forge. Wrath 2 Forge with 4 gates cost 386 Elder Slorm. Wrath 3 Forge with 4 gates cost 434 Elder Slorm.
- Prioritise Astorias spirit > Beigarth spirit > Cory spirit.
Upgrade activation rune of astorias > thornbite rune > enhancement rune of astorias > enhancement rune of beigarth > cory reaper affinity - Start with Wrath 2 for forge, if you can complete wave 100 easily you can try the next wrath level. Open 4 gates if you can afford to. With more gates, the number of enemies remain the same but they spawn faster resulting in faster runs.
- After level 76, you should have 75 points in toughness, add remaining points to savagery.
- Repeat this until both Goldscourge and Slormbane are level 50. This will unlock Aurifurious. Equip Aurifurious and level it until it turns primordial. Equip the primordial version.
Move on to the next section.
Temppopotamus Bastion
You have experienced how painfully slow levelling is doing battlefield, slorm temple and great forge. We are back here again for some faster levelling. Equip the exp ultimatum. With the exp ultimatum at temppo, our exp gain will be comparable to doing wrath 6 forge with 6 gates open, but without the elder slorm cost, difficulty and good loot. Our goal here is to reach 80 level so that we can farm a set of high level gear to use as our early end game permanent set in preparation for the Adam Nostrus boss fight. No need to upgrade gear in between runs anymore, just level till 80.
- Repeat Temppo until level 80.
- Once at level 80, talk to Jemma in town. In her second tab, keep buying the random container until you collect a full set of level 80 gear. Swap back to the movement speed ultimatum.
- Craft your gear, stop at rare stats for now. Suggested sequence is reforge normal stats > reforge defensive stats > add magic stat add rare stat > reforge rare stat > reforge magic stat.
Check here for the recommended Gear stats.
If you lack normal/magic/rare slormeline, merge fragments into slormeline.
If you lack gold, sell your normal fragments to Jemma.
Once you have finished crafting your gear up to rare stats, roll for all the epic % overdrive bounce number first.
Equip your new gear. - Unallocate and refund your entire Ancestral Legacy tree.
Allocate Air Conditioner and upgrade it to Rank 10.
Allocate Neriya’s Shield and do not upgrade it.
Allocate Cold Snap and do not upgrade it.
Allocate Raw Lock and upgrade it to Rank 10.
Allocate Shaman’s Herald and upgrade it to Rank 10.
Allocate Relentless and upgrade it to Rank 10.
Allocate Spark Machine and upgrade it to Rank 1.
Turn on both auras. - Adjust your attributes: 15 toughness > 25 savagery > 75 fury > dump remaining points into savagery.
- Change your Architect of Death upgrades according to this section.
- You can keep Finesse as the secondary skill to use it as a movement skill.
- Equip Immortal Arrow as the primary skill. This gives some extra small dps, it is mainly for stripping the block stacks of enemies.
Upgrade Wandering Arrow to Rank 5.
Upgrade Academic’s Arrow to Rank 3.
Upgrade Companions to Rank 1.
The build is now a no buttons walking simulator. Your overdrive bounce number will be very low at the start, you will have to roll for all the epic % overdrive bounce number stats on your gear first for more bounces. You will need to walk near enemies for your reaper to fire an overdrive at them. - Time to update the drop filter again. Increase the reinforcement option. You will only loot +9 or higher gear, and extract them for slormite at the blacksmith. Slowly increase this to match your progress.
You can also hide the legendary items with the same options ticked if you do not wish to fill your legendary stash collection. Salvage excess legendary for fragments to merge into legendary slormeline. - Repeat Temppo while reinforcing your new gear.
- Once your gear is +3, move on to the next section.
Finishing Adam Nostrus’ Trials 2
Continue pushing to floor 150 in the slorm temple. Farm battlefield when you are out of elder slorm. Farm the forge when you are out of goldus or crafting material. The Elder Slorm cost for 6 gates in the forge is double of its entry cost, so prepare x3 of the entry cost before entering the forge.
Wrath 4 battlefield and wrath 3 forge should be easy for you now, slowly push for higher wrath as you improve your gear. Try to get to at least 8 bounces before attempting 6 gates forge or you might get overwhelmed.
Swap to the movement speed ultimatum and enhancement rune of astorias for battlefield and slorm temple.
Swap to the critical strike damage ultimatum and enhancement rune of beigarth for the forge.
- Unlock and upgrade the critical strike damage ultimatum. This can be found on floor 90 of the slorm temple. You can use this ultimatum for bosses and the forge.
- Whenever your gear’s potential is full, reinforce it at the slormitizer, do this up to +10. When you have the spare resources, you can start adding attributes > reaper affinity > mastery > epic stats to your gear. Legendary effects are not needed yet. Adjust your attributes and gear attribute rolls accordingly to reach 15 toughness > 25 savagery > 75 fury > dump remaining points into savagery. Get a total of 50 cory affinity on your gear. Get all the %overdrive bounce number epic stats on your gear.
- Once the above is complete, you can attempt to fight Adam Nostrus and the floor 150 temple keeper. They are particularly hard for this build as this build lacks ehp sustain. You can cheese it by using the smaloron activation rune trick:
- Turn off all auras
- Equip the smaloron activation rune and astorias enhancement rune
- Enter the fight
- Cast the trigger effect rune skill > swap to astorias activation rune > swap to smaloron activation rune > repeat 2 more times
- Equip cory activation rune
- Turn on your auras
- Fight the boss
- If you still lack ehp sustain, do a run of forge, focus on getting cory spirits and upgrade the cory activation rune
- If you do not have the above-mentioned runes, do rapid siege leader runs to unlock them
- Once you get the 8th Ancestral Stone, allocate Wrath of Kings and upgrade it to Rank 10. Congratulations!
Adam Nostrus’ Trials 3
During this phase, you will upgrade your build with legendary gear, reinforce them up to +12 and fight the last boss.
Netherworld and Forge
In this section, you will be exploring the netherworld to find the legendaries used for this build. In between runs, if you feel that the build is too weak to handle wrath 7 warlords, do a few wrath 5 or higher forge runs.
Upgrade your activation rune of astorias, thornbite rune, enhancement of astorias and beigarth to max rank.
Upgrade all gear item levels up to 100, craft the slormandrite of true potential using fragments if you are lacking them.
Reinforce non-legendary or incorrect legendary gear up to +10, and reinforce correct legendaries up to +12.
At some point, you might want to run a few temppopotamus bastion to level the other 2 specialisations to mastery level 8 to unlock their upgrades so that you can dump slorm into them to get the full 4000 raw damage.
- Talk to Almerolis, select Netherworld, expand the map. Search for your target legendary using the search box at the top right.
- The list of possible rewards rerolls every time you clear a cataclysmic expedition or a warlord.
If the target legendary appears at a warlord you have unlocked and can defeat, select it, enter and defeat it.
If the target legendary appears at a warlord you have yet to unlock or cannot defeat, you can continue to unlock more cataclysms or run the expedition that gives x2 nether charge to reroll the rewards. - There are 6 legendaries in the list of possible rewards. When you defeat the warlord, 3 of 6 listed legendary possible rewards will appear in the reward options. You can reroll them for the other 3 listed legendaries possible rewards to appear. This means that you should always prepare at least 300 000 slorm before you fight a warlord to get the legendary you want. Refund slorm that you dumped into extra skill upgrades or ancestral legacy if you have to.
- Repeat the above until you have collected all the legendaries this build uses. In order of priority:
- Indomitable Mountain. Huge boost to defenses, with this you can reach over 1m EHP with thornbite protection, allowing you to start face tanking lots of cataclysms.
- Cloak of the Insatiable. 50% more bounces.
- A Path to the First. This will skyrocket your single target dps
- Midos’ Collector’s Bracers. QOL for looting and a minor boost to damage. If you do not care for the QOL, rank this below Ancestral Champions’ Present.
- Tiara of the Ancestral Champion. Decent boost to defenses.
- Defender’s Twin Bands. Decent boost to defenses. Evasion is a must on the defense stat slot on both rings when you get this.
- Ancestral Champions’ Present. Minor boost to defenses and damage.
- Sparkling Boots of Midos. Minor boost to damage.
- Olorin’s Ultimate Enhancer. Minor boost to damage.
- Squad of Eternity. Minor boost to damage, main use of this is to strip away the block stacks on enemies.
- Arah’s Unbreakable Barrier. Most useless yet useful piece, it gives you some survivability before you gain your first stack of thornbite protection when you first enter a zone.
- Repeat forge runs until you complete the goals below. You will be able to clear w10 forge when you have completed the goals below.
- All your legendaries are +12 reinforcement and level 100.
- All normal, defense, magic, rare, epic, legendary effects, reaper affinity and attributes on your gear are correct.
- All the stats are rolled to max roll, use the reroll all scores option at the top combined with locking for cheaper rolling. This is relatively cheap.
- All skill upgrades are unlocked and fully upgraded for 4000 raw damage.
- Activation rune of Astorias, Thornbite effect rune, enhancement rune of Beigarth, enhancement rune of Astorias are fully upgraded.
- Cory affinity at Cory Ironbender is fully upgraded to level 100.
Slorm Temple
In this section, you will be farming for pure slorm in the slorm temple. This is to prepare for the next section where you farm for pure stats gear to use as feed for grafting onto nether gear.
Use enhancement rune of Astorias for short runs and Beigarth for long runs.
If you have trouble with the laser beams in the slorm temple, upgrade Temple Defenses Damage to take less damage. I did not bother upgrading Temple Defenses at all. It took me a run from floor 151 to 250 (32421 elder slorm cost) and a repeat run from floor 190 to 250 (21170 elder slorm cost) to fully upgrade the 4 things below.
Repeat until you have fully upgraded the following (in order of priority):
- Elder Slorm Capacity. This should have been fully upgraded in previous sections.
- Elder Slorm Find. This is optional, you can ignore this as you should no longer need to manually farm elder slorm in the battlefield. You should be able to earn enough elder slorm from forge runs. If you still lack elder slorm you can transform your excess slorm to elder slorm at Olorin. If you lack both elder slorm and slorm, too bad, you will have to go back to manually farming for elder slorm in the battlefield.
- Pure Stat Max Score. This is important to fully upgrade, you will want to only use max score pure stats for grafting for perfect items.
- Pure Stat Chance.
Netherworld II and Ohm Agard
In this section, you will be farming for pure stats items and nether gear in the primordial netherworld.
- Unlock all cataclysms and warlords by defeating them at least once. This should be doable on your level 100 +12 legendary gear set. Certain cataclysmic expeditions and warlords are significantly harder, you might have to use the smaloron activation rune trick:
- Turn off all auras
- Equip the smaloron activation rune and astorias enhancement rune
- Enter the zone
- Cast the trigger effect rune skill > swap to astorias activation rune > swap to smaloron activation rune > repeat 2 more times
- Equip cory activation rune
- Turn on your auras
- Once you have cleared all the cataclysms and warlords, talk to Adam Nostrus. This will unlock the final boss Ohm Agad. Defeat Ohm Agad. This fight should be relatively easy.
Use the movement speed ultimatum, activation rune of astorias, thornbite rune and enhancement rune of astorias.
Keep an eye on the life bar, when it reaches the cataclysm mark, it will remove all of your life, shield and thornbite protection. When that happens, rush to open all 6 breaches while dodging attacks, this will summon enemies for you to kill to trigger your thornbite rune for thornbite protection.
Here’s a recording of my first time defeating Ohm Agad:
Endgame
Time for some endgame min maxing.
Netherworld
In this section, you will be farming for pure stats and nether gear in the primordial netherworld to craft a basic magic find nether gear set.
Primordial netherworld will be way more difficult with your non-nether non-pure +12 gear, you will be able to clear all cataclysms but some warlords will be impossible to defeat.
- Clear all cataclysms in the primordial netherworld.
- Hunt primordial warlords that you are able to defeat for a full set of nether gear. Check their list of possible rewards when choosing a warlord to fight. For example, if you are looking for nether gloves, fight a warlord with the most number of gloves in their list of possible rewards.
Repeat this until you have a full set of nether gear. If you get any extra, stash it, you will need another set of nether gear later. - Hunt warlords for the following legendaries to use as grafting feed. Remember to turn off the filter for legendaries when doing this. Go for warlords with 6 possible rewards for a 100% chance of getting the legendary. You can hunt both non-primordials and primordials, it does not matter.
- Heart of Darkness
- Irondrive Fist
- A Link To The Last
- Ironclad Retaliation
Craft a basic no pure stats magic find nether gear set. Farm the forge for crafting resources if you have to.
*= number of grafts
Reaper affinity is still the same, a total of 50 Cory Ironbender affinity across all 11 pieces.
Mastery will be +2 immortal arrow on all pieces.
Attributes will be +3 toughness/savagery/fury, as long as you have 15 toughness, 75 fury and the rest in savagery.

- After you are done crafting your basic magic find nether gear set, equip it.
- Repeat a few rounds of Temppopotamus Bastion to reinforce them to +3.
- Repeat forge to reinforce them to +15 and beyond. Congratulations, with this basic magic find nether gear set, you will be able to farm for pure stats at x2 to x3 the speed of the non-nether non-pure +12 gear set.
Netherworld II
In this section, you will be farming for pure stats and nether gear in the primordial netherworld to craft a triple pure stats magic find nether gear set. I have not explored this far so you are on your own on which max score pure stats, non-pure stats and legendary effects to choose for crafting. It should be similar to the grafts above but with max score pure stats quantity, goldus and evasion instead.
Set the filter to only show pure stats that are max score and highlighted stat. Go to your character info sheet to highlight the stats you want as pure stats.
- Hunt in the cataclysms expeditions for the max score pure stats you want.
- Craft your triple pure stats nether gear set.
- Repeat a few rounds of Temppopotamus Bastion to reinforce them to +3.
- Repeat forge to reinforce them to +15 and beyond.
